Shipyard District, Inc. is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed by Green Bay business and property owners on our historic Fox River waterway along South Broadway and State Streets. Our mission is to revitalize our business area on the west side of our downtown and attract development and continued community investment to the businesses and residents of the area.
The Shipyard District, Inc. isn't your average downtown revitalization organization.
We're Green Bay's only downtown revitalization organization whose board of directors is completely comprised of district business- and property owners, which means our mission includes business retention, directly impacting area businesses (instead of competing with them), and building our community by working together.
Live music has always been an important part of our downtown business community.
We're proud to be our city's live music destination with year-round live, original, local music at bars and restaurants throughout the district. The Shipyard District is the home of All Bands On Deck, Green Bay's biggest live music festival which features hundreds of local bands annually at district bars, restaurants, and food trucks.
Thank you for supporting our growing, historic downtown and being a part of developing a safer, cleaner business community together. Welcome aboard the Shipyard District!
